I did not know Kevin personally, but I do remember him as an excellent footballer in the great Dundalk side of the Sixties. He was a terrier in midfield alongside the late Mick Millington. R.I.P.

Sincere sympathies to all Kevin's family and friends on the passing of Kevin. For all Dundalk FC fans in the 1960's Kevin was an absolute genius on the football field. He was so much part of a great team which brought joy and happiness to many in Oriel Park. The local newspaper at the time described Kevin as "the man with three lungs". May Kevin now rest in eternal peace.

Kevin was on my first Dundalk team (September 66) against St. Pats. He will always be fondly remembered in Oriel park.
