What a shock I got to hear of dear Liam’s sudden passing. I was away on holidays in France and only heard of the news this week. My heartfelt sympathy to dear Elaine and all the family. What a great character!! We will all miss him so much at the CCMA Music Centre in Crumlin. He was a wonderful presence in the Memory Lane Choir and for this we will always be grateful. I'm so sorry to hear this news. Liam was a poet (literally) and a gentleman. He was such a kind and gentle person. My condolences to his wife and family.

Condolences to Elaine and Liam’s family and friends. Liam and Elaine supported The 1895 Trust from its inception in the early 2010s. Without their support as more established fans of the club I don’t think us youngsters (at the time anyway) would have ever gotten it off the ground.

I will always remember how he would take us to task at every AGM, him peering over his glasses before delivering a witty rebuke to something we’d said from the podium.

Liam was an incredibly funny and warm man. Devoted to Shels and The 1895 Trust, we’ll miss you Liam.
