My deepest sympathies - was in school with Lochlann back in the day and the friendship endured through random unplanned meetings.
— Conal Curran Class of “87
Very fond memories of Lochlann from back in the day when we served Mass together in the College Chapel. He was a terribly nice chap and I'm saddened to hear of his passing so young.

The world will be a lesser place without him that's for sure.

May he walk in the presence of the Lord in the Land of the Living.
— Philip Brennan (class of '88)

I'm so sorry to have lost our cousin, Lochlann. He was a very important part of our family. My kids' greatest memories with him are, him teasing them about Boston teams losing to NY teams. That was a conversation/rivalry/trashtalk that lasted decades. He and I got together in NY a couple times a year. He would always come to me and meet me wherever and whenever was convenient for me, regardless of how inconvenient it was for him. His sense of humor was legendary.

As Colm said in the services today, a piece of Lochlann will live on in each of us. Sending love, Alana

To Lochlann’s Family

Terribly sad to hear of his passing. He was a great guy. I got to know him when we lived together (with 6 others) in a very small space in the Upper west side in the 1990s. It was truly the best of times and is indelibly remembered by all (of which there were many) who came through the doors of Apt #3 90 Central Park West. Lochlann didn’t take the return flight to Dublin with the rest of us that year and stayed on in NYC for over thirty years. Rest in Peace Lochlann.

Sincere condolences to Lochlann’s family and friends. Lochlann was the Go-To-US-Summer Visa guy in Belfield getting a few of us students, back in the day, sorted for jobs in Espresso Cafe in Nantucket. For all his kind efforts, he then had the joy of trying to manage us.

I remember Lochlann being great fun, always up for a laugh and happy to help anyone out.

My condolences to you Sheilagh and family on the loss of your brother Lochlann and to your brother Colm and family for their loss too. There are no explanations for things like this and the manner in which they unfold, but I know that Lochlann had a terrific sister supporting him in these last months and could not have asked for more of her.
