I worked with Lucy app. 15 years in St. John's College. She quietly and modestly went about her work diligently. In later years when I worked in closer contact with her, I noticed close-hand her professionalism and genuine care for her Students.
She had a quick wit about her at all times particularly sitting in the kitchen with her friends and colleagues over coffee breaks. She was also well able for the banter about Mayo and the Sam Maguire!
So very sad to hear about her passing. My sympathies and thoughts go our to her family and friends. Thinking of you all. X
