It was with sadness that I learned of Margaret's passing. I have many happy memories of Margaret when I was a regular visiter to Curley's as a child and as a teenager. She was always warm and welcoming. Margaret was also a wonderful ally to Mary and me when we planned and prepared our midnight feasts as children.
I know Margaret will be missed greatly by her family and the Curley family but she leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness.

Margaret Egan - the most gentle, kind, selfless and loving person one could ever meet. We were incredibly sad to hear of her passing. It is very difficult to capture in words all that she meant to all of us here at Kenny’s. We had the privilege of getting to know Margaret as she was a rock for Granny over the years she worked here. Margaret is a part of most of our childhood memories when we visited granny as she always welcomed us with a smile and her coined phrase ‘A Grá’een’ in her loving warm manner. In granny’s final years, it was Margaret Egan who kept the show on the road, always working in the background with constant consideration for everyone around her. She was simply remarkable and will always be remembered with such love and adoration by all of us. We send our love to the extended Egan family, the Curley Family and to all who had the privilege of Margaret’s support throughout her life. Rest in eternal peace A Grá’een and thank you for your presence in our lives xxx
