To Gary, Niall and Ronan. So sorry to hear about your mam. Mrs O’Brien was a lovely lady and a great neighbour. She wasn’t only a neighbour, but a great friend to my mam and dad. Many’s a sing song we had in our house with your mam and dad in the middle of it all. My dad often reminisced over the years of the time Gemma was born (1979). He went down to tell your mam and dad the happy news of the new baby. My dad eventually got home 3 hrs later after wetting the baby’s head. They were all great friends with many good memories. Thinking of you all and your lovely mam 🙏🙏

So sad to hear of the death of our wonderful childhood neighbour. She was an integral part of our growing up in Glendown Lawn, a very glamorous,kind,mischevious and funny lady. May she rest now in peace with her beloved Joe. I am sure her and my mum, and dad will continue the Glendown Annex happily in Heaven along with all our other dear departed neighbours.
