My sincere sympathy to John Joe and family on the sad passing of Marguerita. I had never met Marguerita but, from reading the condolence messages, I can see that that she was a very wonderful person, highly regarded by all who knew her. May she rest in perpetual peace.

We didn't have the honor of meeting you in person, Margarita 🌼, but we did have the tremendous gift of being part of Grainne's life and, through her, the chance to get to know the heart of this beautiful Irish family.

We wish Margarita the best journey home and all the peace and understanding for the family left behind, contemplating the loss of a mother and for the children who are reaching the front lines.

Heartfelt sympathy to John Joe, Diarmuid, Grainne and Eoin. Marguerita was a remarkable lady who was a guiding light to us all. She led us on our bikes on Tuesdays on the winding back roads around Kilkenny and her passion was only matched by her unwavering leadership and generosity of spirit. It is hard to believe, that exactly a year ago this week, we were cycling along the banks of the Loire Valley. We found joy in that journey and every other journey we shared with her. Her legacy will live on in every kilometer we cycle in future and we will always remember her warmth and courage.

Deepest condolences to Diarmuid and the O’Flynn family on the loss of Marguerita. She was a founding member of the Kilkenny Special Olympics Club and set a standard and expectations that we continue to try to live up to. Her legacy continues and she will never be forgotten.
