Deepest condolences to Colm, the Brennan and Mangan families at this very sad time. Martina was a gentle, kind, thoughtful and genuine person. She had the most contagious laugh. I have many great memories of our time together. Our friendship was quality over quantity. It was like we always knew each other even though we hadn't grown up together. Martina was a credit to her mam and dad. May her gentle soul rest in peace. Rest easy my bestie until we meet again x

Martina, a friend I will always hold in my heart. She lit up a room with her positivity, warmth and a sense of fun and always made you feel at ease in her company. She brought her love of life to the office everyday and to so many fun filled social nights out, where we stayed over in Naas, had laughs and created wonderful memories to treasure forever. On joining the Naas courts family Martina took me under her wing and showed me the way, we instantly became wonderful friends and she always showed up in times of need to share her light, unselfish, unwavering. Martina loved her family dearly and this extended to her fur babies and every other fur baby she came across. Martina had a good arm for darts and was very partial to the odd bullseye. We both ventured to Belfast Xmas markets with the mammies enjoying festive afternoon tea’s. Martina was extremely creative and talented and this shone through with her love of card making and took great pleasure in giving these and many other generous gifts to the people she cared about and loved bringing them happiness. Her love of life and the people she cared for was evident in all she did. May my best friend Martina find peace and happiness in heaven now that she is free from pain and rejoin her loved ones in the next life. I have no doubt heaven shines a little brighter now with Martina's presence and there is no doubt that she is giggling away at my late father's jokes in heaven as they always made her smile 💔
— Janice Condren

My heartfelt sympathies to Martina's husband Colm, parent's Anne and Paddy, sister Deirdre and brother Colm.
I had the privilege of visiting Martina in Our Lady’s Hospice on Sunday 22nd, when we reminisced over the early days of her growing up in Glenview & the celebration of her first Sacraments with family, school friends & teachers from Scoil Aonghusa. Before my good-bye we celebrated another Sacrament,
the Anointing of the sick, a fortification for her final journey home.
It was a beautiful grace filled day that I will never forget. Little did we realise that her departure was so imminent.
The world is indeed a poorer place but there is a larger plan that Martina now sees.
Solas na bhFlaitheas dá hanam.

I am so sorry to hear that Martina has passed away. My sincere condolences to her husband, Colm, her Mum, Dad, Sister, Brother, extended family and so many friends.
I worked in the Courts Service with Martina, in various offices, where we had many, many chats and laughs about everything. She had a great outlook on life, loved her family, animals, darts, purple, socializing, crafting and work, (in that order). She saw the best in everyone and was always smiling and remembering that smile will help her family get through the tough days ahead.
Rest in eternal peace Martina, gone way too soon. 💜
