DAN AND Betty, I was so very sorry today to hear from Breda Lyons (formerly of Lima Lawns) of Marys death. It has come so recently after Michaels passing that it really is a cruel blow.It has brought back so many memories of our childhood on Glasheen road and the fun we all had with the Foleys,Kings,Lorigans, happy innocent days .Some years later Marie (as we knew her) came to Clondalkin Paper Mills,Where i was working, and we renewed the friendship.I last met her at the launch of the CPM local history story more happy ( and indeed some sad memories of those days).I know you both have many happy memories of times with Mary over a lifetime, which i know will bring solace in the days ahead
May Mary rest in Peace.

Mary - Knowing you and your great Munster strength of character - it was a very great honour for me to call you friend. I remember our trip to Rome and the day we sat by the pool at the Irish College. We chatted for an hour or two in the sunshine - something never to be forgotten. Seeing you taking on the hill of the Tipper Road every day was a lesson to all of us. You have well earned your place amongst the angels. Rest in peace now.
