Remembering Mary with fond memories, all these ago, when I joined the Bank of Ireland, Trustee Department, College Green.

Mary, along with her buddies, Verge Crowley RIP and Phyllis Atkinson, RIP took all the new entrants under their wings and showed us the ropes with kindness and respect and fun.

She once barely hit a car in front of her during rush hour in Grafton Street and she told the vexed driver, "that's what bumpers are for". I still find her quick wit so amusing.
