Mary O'Mahony

I’m very sad to hear this . I enjoyed our chats at work in CUH. My deepest condolences to her family, friends and all who are grieving her passing. The light of heaven to her gentle soul.

Sad ro say we had lost contact but enjoyed seeing her in Cork some 20 years ago. Good memories of Mary and the family.

Our memory of Mary
Each of us share special memories of Mary. Over the years we spent time with her at the O’Mahoney home on Park Ave, NYC or at the Sussek home in Canton. Mary was an avid photographer ! My goodness she would arrange and rearrange our places in a group photo. It had to be a perfect photo in her eyes. We would laugh. As Kathy would say “For Gods sake Mary take the picture !
“She always returned from Ireland for family birthdays, first communion, confirmations, graduations. Family was very important to her. Yes Mary and her smile will be missed by many. But Mary had better be careful when she begins to line up the Saints for a photo. Rest in peace you sweet Irish Lass

So very sorry to hear about Mary. I will always remember her kindness and her knowledge of life in Bantry when her father lived there. She also introduced us to the lady who moved into my grandparents house in Glengarriff Road next to what was Wholleys shop back in the 1940s.
