Maura was a wonderful Public Health Nurse so practical and took no nonsense.She was a good support to me when I had ny first child

She was a wonderful family friend to us all and will be sadly missed.
I have many fond childhood memories of visiting her home in The Oaks, especially at Christmas time when it felt like I was entering a winter wonderland.
In later years, I always enjoyed it when she popped round for the chats, she always had a good story to tell.

Deepest sympathy to the Solan family on the passing of Maura. I have many fond memories of calling into Maura with my mother as a young girl and being offered chocolate bars as a treat. Her beautiful white Christmas tree I always adored and particularly when we got to pick a chocolate decoration! She bandaged my knees many a time after trips and falls on the road!
