I was so sad to hear of Maurice’s passing RIP. Condolences to all the family on your sad loss. I worked for many years with Maurice in Boart Longyear, Shannon and we were good friends. He often brought a crowd of us home from funerals and company nights out and made sure we got home safe and often called for us again in the morning to make sure we got up for work. May his gentle soul rest in peace

I remember the day when Maurice bought number 26 - he dropped me a fiver to keep an eye on the house until they moved in.
The Murphys became great friends & neighbours, rugby in Richmond at the canal every Sunday, scattering when we heard the the Fiat Ritmo coming around the corner at half 5 every day, the look of horror when someone smashed the garage window 🙈 BBQ’s & Christmas parties in the Diamond club.
We’ll always remember your birthday as you shared it with Eoghan. Thanks for helping out when needed in 28. Rest In Peace Maurice.
