There are no ways to adequately describe what a wonderful, kind, caring man Michael was! I will miss our long chats! He was so passionate about the railway and so knowledgeable- when I moved to Connolly I thought he would be the next CEO but as well as being so kind and caring he was modest too and always reaching out to help others!
It is a shock to hear we have lost him but he talked about his retirement function as a great occasion but sad that he hasn't got the retirement years he so deserved! We will miss him sorely and my deepest sympathy to Kay and his family! You have lost a man with great integrity that we all will miss! Your pain will be deep but find some comfort in knowing how privileged you are to have had him and so proud you should be! I will miss him!
