To Bernie and all of your family my sincere condolences on Michaels passing. Met with him in the seventies and we had a great friendship. He showed me the ropes then and I am very thankful for that. Sorry that I missed the funeral but all I will say was an absolute gentleman and that is not an understatement . Rest in peace Michael.

I always have fond memories of Michael bringing about ten of us when we were kids in his car over to hurling training in clough and to matches and I always enjoyed meeting him in the half door.
