It is with great sadness we acknowledge the untimely passing of Michael, RIP, an avid attendee of Gurteen Bingo every Friday night, right up to a few weeks ago when, unfortunately, he became unable health wise. He would zoom in, having collected his friend Mary, kindly giving her a lift to bingo, take up position in his usual seat on the left, Mary nearer the front and we would always exchange banter, usually over the lotto tickets, his remarking “I can never win anything on these yokes”!!!!!,,,,,, yet he’d never renège on being in with a chance!!!! Michael, your presence will be missed by all as we impart our deepest sympathies to your sisters, Mary, Theresa, the entire Keane family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílís go deo.
