A former colleague from RTÉ- a gentle and very intelligent soul. Sleep well

So sorry to hear this sad news … I worked with Michael in the RTÉ newsroom … a gentle and clever colleague.
My sincere condolences to Michael's family and friends on his sad and untimely passing.
Condolences on behalf of Michael's friends and former colleagues in the NUJ,
He is fondly remembered.
He is fondly remembered.
So very sorry to hear of Michael’s passing. We worked together on the radio desk in the RTE newsroom many moons ago. Gone far too young. Heartfelt sympathies.
I remember Michael vividly from the 1990s when we both worked as subs on the Radio 1 news desk. He was a very erudite and kind character, with a gentle mocking sense of humour that could catch you by surprise. Think of vexillology (a word I had difficulty spelling when I checked its meaning in the dictionary). In the intervening years I was kept up to date by Jenny MCgeever who regularly holidayed with him. I was sad to hear of his sudden and untimely death.
So sorry to hear of Michael's sudden passing. Sympathy to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
