Eileen our sincere condolences on the death of Michael. We have very fond memories of Mick starting in the early sixties at Trinity College where he played Gaelic Football and Hurling for the College. Mick was a larger than life character and the stories are endless. Please convey our sympathies to the rest of your family. My he rest in peace.

It is with great sadness that I learned of the recent passing of Michael Moran. My sincere condolences to his wife, Eileen, and to his family and extended family. Michael taught us science and maths during his teaching career in Belmullet; he was an outstanding teacher. Whenever we gather as a group, we fondly remember his qualities as a tutor.

How fortunate you were to have him as a permanent fixture in yours. He created so many memories that some of the details may become a little vague. Geraldine and I are deeply saddened to hear that Michael has passed. I grew up with Michael in Irish town and have many great memories of rowing and playing tennis together.
