Our sincere sympathy to Jenny and the Kos family on the passing of Miklos. May he rest in peace. We were colleagues in the Office Products division of IBM during the 1960s. He was the best salesman we ever met, an exceptional person and always a gentleman.

To Jenny and the Kos Family. I had the privelige of working for Mike for many years in IBM. He was a great leader and always interested in and concerned about everyone in the company. And what a roar of a laugh, I will miss you Mike.

So sorry to hear of Mike’s death. I have fond memories of his time as General Manager of IBM. May I send my sympathies to his family.

Jenny, your great consolation, on Miklos' so sad and sudden passing, must be knowing that he was at his happiest when he was with you. He was my friend for more than seventy years - a big, kind, lovely person, and a total gentleman. He was a proud Hungarian and an even prouder Irish man. Our deepest sympathy to Nico, Kristian and his beloved sisters Kitty and Zsuzsi, and to all his relatives and friends at this very sad time and loss. He will be fondly and well remembered - may flights of angels sing him to his rest.

My memory of Miklos will be of his young vibrant self arriving for regular visits to "Caragh" in Foxrock when Sonja and I were young. What a beautiful man in every way. So elegant, refined and warm. Nico and Kristian, I am so sorry for your deep loss. Jenny, I am thinking of you. "The spirit never dies."

We are saddened to hear of the death of Miklos. We enjoyed his friendship very much over the years. We have lovely memories of him in South Africa and were happy to continue checking in with him now and then with Jenny in Ireland. Our condolences to Jenny, Nico, Kristian and Miklos’ family.

Although from years ago I have many fond memories of Miklos and all of you during the year I lived with your family on Anglesea Road. Thinking of you Nico and Kristian. XO

Like other condolences here I have fond memories of the Kos family back in Greystones in the 50's/60's.
Mrs Kos,Piri,Kitty,Zsuzsi ,Bela and Miklos.
Like many young boys at that time in Greystones we were in awe of these two giants who seemed to excel at all sports ,swimming,tennis,GaelicFootball, Rugby much to the envy of their peers.
We would watch them play for Greystones RFC and in later year Lansdowne RFC with great success.
Always high achievers but always so humble.
May Miklos' gentle soul rest in peace.

Annegret and I are very sad to hear about Mike's passing. He was certainly one of the most memorable and friendliest fellows students at HBS. He was never "streamlined" but on the contrary very outspoken. He was the type of man whom we were blessed to know because of his fine charater, his interesting opinions, and his good humor. He was the kind of friend who makes life so interesting and warm and vivid.
We wish you strength for the time to come.

Miklos was a great person and a wonderful friend to have over many years. Initially we tried to take lumps out of each other on the rugby ground which is always a good way to establish a close friendship. As we traveled our respective career's divided by oceans, we remained good friends and I will sadly miss him. My condolences to Jenny and his family.

To Jenny and the family.
It was with great sadness I heard of Miklos’ passing. What a thorough gentleman with a kind disposition and he was always up for a story and a good laugh.
The very last of the great ‘toe-kickers’, his place-kick from a “mark” against Clontarf effectively won the Senior Cup for Lansdowne, so for him it was immortality in the club. And rightly so.

Mike will be sadly missed. Our many foreign trips and especially our times spent in Paris will forever remind us of Mike.He was a gentleman and such a positive thinker. He set the scene for the ultimate expansion of IBM in Ireland.I once heard him referred to by the Irish Govt. as “Mr. IBM” They were not off the mark. May you Rest in Peace, Mike.

To all Mike’s extended family my condolences. I was one of many working I IBM when Mike was appointed CEO in 1980. He was an outstanding manager and people person and was very successful before moving on /up to the US. I remember him with admiration and thanks.

My deepest sympathy on your loss. We were children together in Greystones and to my frustration I never beat either himself or Bela in swimming although I tried hard. When I saw Bela’s grandson keeping the family tradition alive I had intended to make contact with him but alas it’s now too late. He was a great fellow and fine athlete and a great loss to us all.

Sabah and I were greatly saddened to hear of Miklos’s passing. No matter the preceding circumstances one is never truly ready to have our hearts broken in such a way. We only last saw you both at an Appleby wedding, but the happy, radiant smile on your face said it all!
We wish you every strength and courage in the coming days and please goodness you can find it in your heart to focus on celebrating that wonderful friendship you shared rather than mourning a great loss. We are currently not in Ireland but will keep you in our hearts on Wednesday next.
