Nadia Dempsey

To the Dempsey family,

I met Nadz in Banana Barracks in Tully in Australia. She was the absolute crack. So colourful in what she wore and her personality too. Everyone loved her and you knew you were always going to have a good day when you were in her company. She was very happy and cheerful and always up for the crack. She took advantage of everyday and lived her life to the fullest. She was very easy to get on with, had time for everyone and never seemed to have a worry in the world. I will miss that energy she brought to the world, her sense of humour, the random nights out, her caring and friendly nature. It was an absolute pleasure to know her and she will truly be missed. You raised a lovely human being. I'm very thankful for the memories and to have met her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I hope her spirit lives on forever, Louise x

Nadia you are an inspiring beautiful kind soul that had so much love, hope and positivity about life. I will forever cherish meeting you in Carlow and reconnecting with you the last year which we both wished it was for different reasons. I will miss our chats and our planning to celebrate when treatment was all over. I am just sorry our meet up was a goodbye.

Nadia you helped me the last year in so many ways that I will be forever grateful for and will never forget. It has been no surprise to see how many life's you have touch and everything you have achieved at such a young age, has been so inspiring and the world needs more people like you. One thing you always said was 'life is for living' and I will remember you by this forever.

Nadia, I will never forget your gentle soul and thank you for all your love, support and being my friend. You were too beautiful for this world, Rest in Peace and keep her lit x

I was so devastated to hear about Nadia’s passing. She lived such a full and adventurous life, traveling to so many incredible places, always embracing new experiences with that bright, fearless spirit of hers. I’ll never forget the time in Italy when that ski instructor was giving me trouble, and Nadia, without hesitation, stood up for me. It was just like her to protect the people she cared about, no matter the situation. Her warmth, kindness, and strength will be missed by everyone who knew her. My thoughts are with her family and friends during this heartbreaking time.
