To all the O' Leary family, we are so sorry for your loss. We were fostered by the O' Learys many years ago. They are really special people. Child protective services put an ad in the paper in hopes they could find a family that would foster 3 sibling together. We were so blessed that they responded to the ad. Some of our best child hood memories were had during our two years spent with this amazing family at the farm house in Ballingeary. I (Donna)remember every moring I would come downstairs and Nance would be making my boiled eggs. Years later Nance still remembered that I liked my eggs soft not only that she remembered how I would say toft egg instead of soft egg. I loved how the whole family came together every evening to say the rosary as geailge. We all took turns to say a decade each.There was genuine sense of closeness in this home. May Nance rest in peace. God has a very high place in heaven for her. We are sending our love to all the the family at this sad time. 🙏🙏🙏grá mór don clainne ar fad.💝💝💝

My sincere condolences to Sean and my cousins on the passing of Auntie Nance. I was just boarding a plane to London when I heard the sad news. Auntie Nance took me to my first dance in the Mons Platform as a young teen on holiday from London, and later to the hall in Inchese, many many moons ago when she was courting Sean. We have so many wonderful memories and stories to tell. She was the last sister to join my mother Joan, and the rest of the Twomey siblings, and my grandparents, (Her parents) so there was some welcome in heaven tonight. May they all rest in everlasting peace until we reunite with them all again.💔💖💖💖

We were travelling home from Galway after New Years 2023 and had a puncture, we stopped outside An tSean Bhearaic and soon Sean was out to lend a hand, meanwhile my partner joined Nance inside for tea and chats, they looked after us really well and we'll never forget their kindness, on that cold miserable evening.
