So very sad and shocked to hear of Neasa's untimely passing. I had the good fortune to teach beside Neasa in Scoil Íde when I first moved to Limerick. Neasa gave me a royal Limerick welcome and became like a big sister to me. She was so kind, thoughful and funny. We had many laughs and nights out together. Neasa always had great advice and mentored me through many new events from a Munster rugby match to how to look after a newborn baby. Neasa was one in a million. I feel very fortunate to have known her.
Sincere condolances to Gary, Anna, Austin and Matthew.
Rest in peace Neasa.

I have no words to express the shock and sadness I feel on hearing of Neasas untimely passing.
I had not met her in many years but she was part of my life during my formative years - first day at school right up to intercert exams.
I feel for you on this long lonely road you now unexpectedly have to travel. It will not be an easy path, but, I hope, the cherished memories you hold in your hearts and minds will be of some comfort and help to you to you all.

To Gary Matthew, Anna and Austin and all Neasa's family and friends,

My deepest sympathies on the passing of Neasa. I was out of the country at the time of the funeral so I could not attend in person but I was thinking of you all the past week.
For anyone who knew, worked with or had the pleasure of Neasa's company on a night out, disbelief is probably the only word to describe reactions to her sudden passing.

Neasa worked in Scoil Íde for over twenty years, retiring in 2015.
She was sound and great craic and she was very very kind. She loved to hear good news in the lives of her colleagues and friends.

Her three children , Austin, Anna and Matthew are past pupils, I had the pleasure of teaching Matthew in 4th class. They were lovely children and fine adults. We think of them at this time. It is far too soon for them to have to say goodbye to their mother.

Her husband Gary, was a perfect foil for Neasa - a gent to her, the lady. Neasa always spoke so highly of Gary. We think of him too at this very difficult time.

The suddeness of Neasa's passing is a stark reminder that life is precious and it can be fickle.

RIP Neasa... she was , to use an oft used word of hers.. fabulous!
