Sorry to hear of Ned's passing. He was so good to my brother Kevin often staying with him in Phibsboro. Condolences to all his family.

Ned and my father Ger were like brothers. Ned was always good to me. I’d say he was a great man, tough, yet the way it felt to me was he was always soft, because i was always enjoying myself and comfortable in his company. He taught me magic. We miss him. Take care.

I befriended Ned in our school days and we kept in touch over the years. Many’s the pint we had in The Hut etc. He was great company. When my wife and I went on holiday to the USA in 1996 we met Ned and Michael in San Francisco and they showed us all around the Bay Area. Great memories. I’ll miss him. Joe
