Only saw Nicky’s death notice this morning last time I spoke to him was in the Lamplighter pub I was born in Queen Street number 60 and Nicky was born next door 59 it was tenement houses we used to be together playing as children his father had pigeons he was always a very nice person I used to see him sometimes going to jobs on the building work we would talk about Queen Street and people we would be pals with Joey Mc sherry and Stephen it was in the years 1949 to 1960 some memories very clear and nice.
