Mrs. Kavanagh, Kate and John I was so sorry to hear of Noel’s passing. I have many great memories of growing up in Grattan Park with you all. I remember the great summers we had hikes swimming and most importantly of all getting to play football with Noel and the other lads. Something frowned upon in the sixties but Noel being a great person even as a young child always stood up for me to be allowed to play when others might have objected but never Noel. So Jackie I was not surprised what a wonderful husband and Dad and Grandad he turned out to be. I always knew he was a great son and brother and a very loyal friend even if he did support Manchester City.. So I know he will be looking after you all and keeping you safe.
