I was so very sorry to hear of Mrs Mcdonnell’s passing. I have known her since going to school with Eoin and she was very much an institution, in the best of ways. May she rest in peace. The wonderful Nora welcomed us with open arms when we moved in next door to her all those years ago. In the years after, we would share many laughs and stories over the wall as we both cut our grass. She was strong, independent and a warrior with any illness that came her way, bouncing back to health over the years until recent weeks where at grand age of 94, she decided it was time to reunite with her Husband. We will miss her so so much. it is truly the end of an era on Dollymount Avenue as we say farewell to one of its nicest residents.
Sending lots of love to Eoin, Nirmal, Ellie, Finn, Juliette and extended family who allowed her to stay in the home she loved until the very end and were the best company to her for all these years. Xxx

Our deepest condolences to all Nora’s family. She and her late husband Philip were regular customers in our shop for many years. May Nora rest in peace, and may all who mourn her be comforted.

To Eoin, Pierce , Donal and all the McDonnell and O' Donnell family it is with great sadness I heard of your beautiful Mums passing. I have great memories of such a beautiful, graceful lady with a wonderful sense of humour, laughter and smile. Nora was a true GEM in every way. May you all take solace in the brightness and warmth that Nora emanated. Her Love for Philip, a true gent and her Boys was inspiring. A proud wife, Mum, Mother in law, Sister, Aunt, Granny and Great Granny . A wonderful neighbour and precious friend to many. Her Tipperary badge was worn with great pride!!!!
Nora will be massively missed. Remember the great happy times which Nora created so many of. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time. Sleep in eternal Peace Nora reunited in Heaven.
