I am a niece of Aideen on the Carolan side but had the pleasure of meeting ur mum over the years in Aideens and visiting your home many yeas ago with Paula and Fionnuala followed by a swim in the Blackwatetr with the cows....traumatic for a young teenager just off the boat from Blackpool 🤣 Those were the good old days ❤️ A great memory I will never forget. I'm so sorry to hear of Nuala's passing. I thoroughly enjoyed our chats for the period that she attended Pottery Class with me. That drive to and from Toornaneena was brilliant. She was so talented. She took such pride in her children and in particular young Jimmy. She adored them all. Such a loss to her family. May Nuala rest in perfect peace now.

Sincere sympathy to the O'Brien family on the death of Nuala. Nuala, Liam Moore R.I.P. Seamus O'Brien and myself formed the Tullow Macra na Feirme Farm Tasks team that won the All-Ireland Farm Tasks final at Limerick Show in 1968. I have great memories of training with that team and enjoying the subsequent prize of our trip to Paris. Nuala had the task of providing a meal for the team which she did in her own efficient and quiet way. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
