Dearest Margaret, friend from so many years ago, I cannot imagine your loss. These condolences paint a picture of a man who gave love, cheer, a big smile and searching soul to all those around him. Oisín, your beloved son, like you in so many ways. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Hayes Family,

We, the students of EM Normandie, are deeply saddened by the loss of Mr. Oisín Hayes. For three years, we had the privilege of having him as our professor, and he made a profound impact on us with his passion, kindness, and dedication to teaching.

We truly appreciated his guidance, his engaging lessons, and the positive energy he brought to the classroom. He inspired us to grow not only as students but also as individuals, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the honor of learning from him.

During this difficult time, we want to extend our heartfelt sympathies and wish you immense courage and strength. Please know that you are in our thoughts, and we hope that the cherished memories of Mr. Hayes bring you comfort.

To the entire Hayes Family,

My deepest condolences.

I was fortunate to know Oisín for decades. Playing schoolboy football in the 80s, Kierans in 90s, and a stint in Maynooth.
Oisín had a light - bright affirming light that was marvelous to be around. Creativity. Roughish. Compassionate. Caring. It is why so many were attracted to him. Oisin had a style! He had the ability to take something and make it "stick". Language - In Maynooth, he simply made up sayings that are still used to this day. Clothing!

But his greatest skill was meeting and engaging with people. Lives have been enriched because of knowing him.

May his memory bring you moments of calm over the days and weeks ahead.

Ni bheidh a leithead aris ann.
