I hold fond memories of heading over to the Browne household from Oatlands College with Colm, cutting through the church car park and climbing over the back wall and into the house at Coolnevaun - invariably to discuss music and our next band practice - and where we would be greeted by his late mother Angela. For one year – possibly even two – Colm and I shared a desk in school and he was forever mentioning his beloved Roundstone – his Dad’s ancestral home. Paddy Browne left an indelible impression on those who met him, including me. My heartfelt condolences to all the family but in particular to Colm, Kevin and Anne. Thinking of you at this sad time.

Dear all the Brownes
Well, the condolence pages for your dear dad are rolling out like toilet paper. Not surprising though , he was amazing.
He was clever, dapper, great company, with a great sense of humour.

So glad that he was able to live as he wanted to for so long. I expect all your support made that happen.
Think it is only a month since Pat ( Trundle) spoke to Paddy in Friar’s Lodge, and he was sounded in good form and very chatty.
Hope he is pottering and dead heading in a heavenly garden.
He will be remembered fondly by many.
Rest in peace Paddy.
Pat and Dairine Trundle
