Being away and not seeing someone you grew up with for many years,then hearing of their passing leaves a heavy heart.
I have very fond memories of Pat, particularly his humour and good-naturedness.

Many are indebted to him for his work and pride in the village of Ardagh.

My deepest condolences to Tom & Mary, Frank, Mary, Angela, Helen, Catherine, Adrian and the extended Farrell family on the very sad and untimely passing of Pat after a serious illness bravely borne.
I, like many others, had the privilege of knowing Pat, who was a well known community activist in his native village of Ardagh.
Pat and his friend, Seamus Kenny, who has also passed away, proudly represented Ardagh on the National and International stage when the village won the Tidy Towns awards in the 1990s.
Pat gave of his time generously and was rightly held in high regard and he will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
May his good soul Rest in Perpetual Peace.
