Deepest sympathies to all the Kelly family. We were both students in Kilkenny College and I am now a member of staff there. Ms Kelly always served us with a smile and a few words. She always looked out for the students. We were sorry when she retired from school. I was pleased to bump into her last year and have a chat with her. She was a kind and gentle lady and we were saddened to hear of her recent passing.

Sincery sympathy to the Kelly family on the passing of miss Kelly. As a past pupil of kilkenny College I have fond memories of Miss kelly when I would catch a fish from the river Nore beside Johns street. I would bring the prize trout to the back door of the kitchen and miss Kelly would cook it for me to have at tea time, and would always cook a few chips and peas to go with it . Miss Kelly would keep a look out from the kitchen door to make sure I made it down to my place in the dining hall.

To all the family of Ms Kelly, her sister, niece, nephews, uncle and aunt and to her extended family, her neighbours and friends. On behalf of all in Kilkenny College, I would like to express our sadness at her unexpected death and our deep gratitude for the 40 plus years (a life time) spent caring for generations of students and staff in Kilkenny College. Her name is still spoken of with a smile and with great love. We know that her loyalty to Kilkenny College was unquestionable and she loved us.
A great, loyal, kind and generous woman has gone to her reward and we are absolutely sure that her reward is beyond measure. May she be at peace and know how much she was loved and cherished by all in Kilkenny College.
And may God be kind to you, her family, who hold her in your hearts.
There will always be a prayer in Kilkenny College for Patricia, Ms. Kelly.

Pat was a dear and genuine friend. We first became friends at 16 and our friendship continued for the last 55 years. Pat was very sincere and had a good sense of humour. She was a great friend and I will miss her dearly.

Really saddened to hear of Patricia's passing. I don't think that I ever called her Patricia in the 34 years I worked alongside her in Kilkenny College. She was always Miss Kelly to us.
