My sincere sympathy to all the Fox family on the sad and untimely passing of Pat. We were colleagues on the CEC of the GRA and later worked together on the Federation constitution. A very clever man who mixed intelligence with good humour. Although our paths did not cross for some time, I will cherish the memories. May he rest in peace.

So sorry that I cannot be at Pats funeral today, as I am abroad. I first met Pat in the late 80's when I came to Dublin. Pat was both a friend and colleague in An Garda Siochana and more importantly in the Garda Motor Club. He was involved in all aspects of motorsport from his rallying days to the mud plugging. He did tremendous work in Motorsport Ireland and GSMC. He always supported and promoted the clubman or the newcomers to the sport. Pat was a great person, stern sometimes but always fair in his decision making as a steward or in the legal cases in MI.
We had a good time from Jackie Stewarts Ford Day out in Mondello park to Classic car runs, rallying and those bitter cold days mud plugging.
Pat is a big loss to GSMC and to his family, but his banter and memories will live on. Farewell my good friend.....RIP Foxy

We have known Pat for many years and wish to extend our sincere sympathy to all his family at this sad time. We were shocked to hear of Pat's sudden passing. To say we had fun in motorsport is an understatement as Pat was involved in all disciplines of motorsport. We had many long phone conversations even late at night.
Pat has sprung many surprises on me but I did not see this one coming.
