Paddy loved his independence in his apartment in Gardner Street. He would go to shop at 11am after breakfast, for few groceries, and the paper, which he would read thoroughly, all day, till 6pm, when he'd watch television, mostly cowboy and indian films, till 12pm.
— Geraldine
So sad to hear of Paddy's death. As a neighbour in Dublin, and i called when passing, and heard his stories of teaching days and his childhood. He wanted to live way past 100, which surprised me, but he missed his parents and siblings soo much, mostly in last year, so hope he is now with them, reunited again.
— Geraldine

Very saddened to hear of the passing of our lovely teacher Master Mulligan from Molly national school. We have so many kind memories of his teaching delivery and kindness to all of us pupils as children, and i had the pleasure in later life of having "an auld time waltz" with him in the Garda club in Harrington street, which was done to perfection.
