Condolences to the Lydon family on the passing of Patrick. He was very helpful to us when we moved to Kilkenny and pointed the way towards our current house for which we are very grateful. Indeed we have many trees and plants around us which came through Patrick from the Ballytobin plant sales over the years. May he rest peacefully. Andrew and Heike.
So very sorry to hear this sad news of Patrick's untimely death. We had discussed many interesting projects over the years. I had hoped we would meet again and that I would be inspired yet again by his optimistic outlook. My sincere sympathy to Gladys and family and his close friends.
I met Patrick as a Camphill Coworker from East Berlin in the Nineties, feeling small in a great place at the beginning. But Patrick met and greeted me in an unexperienced way in contact with people of another generation by then. He always said "Hello Yvonne" while passing me or asked me lots of questions about my growing up in East Berlin while we were milking the cows. Aswell he was full of faith in my abilities being a housemother in my early 20s. So he left significant marks in my life. Patrick will live on in me and my interaction with other people.
To Gladys and her family my deepest sympathy.
We have happy memories of visiting Ballytobin and meeting Patrick and Gladys and their enthusiasm for life .We offer our condolences to Gladys and family on their loss.
My heartfelt sympathies to all Patrick's family and his wider community family in Camphill.
I was privileged to meet and get guidance and support for an Innovative Initiative when I worked with Kilkenny VEC.
Patrick had such amazing personal qualities and when you were in his company you knew he was a very special person.
Ní bheidh a leithead ann arís.
Our Son Neil entered Ballytobin before his 13th birthday. We owe a debt of gratitude to so many people and to Patrick and Gladys for their vision and hard work in bringing Camphill to Callan. Gladys, to you and your family our heartfelt sympathies.

To Gladys & family and the extended camphill community and Patrick’s wide circle of friends, with our deepest sympathy on your sad loss , may Patrick Rest In Peace.
We were so saddened to hear of Patrick's death. During his life he contributed so much to every project he embraced and he did so with care, compassion and imagination. The numbers who attended his memorial service were e a testimony to the respect - and affection - in which he was held. May he rest in peace.
Sincere condolences to Gladys and family on the passing of Patrick. I was shocked when I heard the very sad news as I didn't know he was ill. He was an amazing man, full of enthusiasm and great fun to be around. I have great memories of working in Camphill on what Patrick and I called 'the fancy haybarn'. I will always remember his smile and loud wahooing. He will be sorely missed. R.I.P. Patrick.

His huge heart, vast knowledge and deep understanding of people and the planet made Patrick an amazing and wonderful human being. In Brianna’s words, it was an honour and a privilege to have known and worked with him. God’s angels are only ever on loan to us on this earth and whilst his passing has been too soon it feels like he is not far away, such is the fantastic legacy he leaves behind. My memories of Patrick are of a deeply human man in the best possible way. I believe he has achieved an awful lot and am sure he will continue to make a difference wherever he is now.
Gladys and Patrick and Callan have amazed our family for years. We'll miss Patrick but today if you go out to the fields -even Carlow fields- you can hear the fist pumping and wahoo-ing from the other world, he's not gone far. Yesterday in Castalia was very special. Much ❤ to all the Lydons and Patrick's Callan Family.

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of our dear friend Patrick. Gladys and Patrick received our son Andrew into their care many years ago , and thus began for us a new way of understanding special needs. Patrick thank you love and care. RIP.

Deepest Sympathy to Gladys on the death of her beloved husband
Patrick May Patrick Rest in Peace.
What an inspirational, creative and determined man. Patrick and others showed us the light when we needed it most now we hold Patrick, Gladys and family in the Light.
There is a Quaker saying “Let your life speak” Patrick took that and ran with it.
Rest in peace, Friend.
Patrick was a man with a piece of string in one of his pockets as long as I can remember him.
My sister Sarah Cuffe loved to say 'He did it!' when someone completed a complicated piece of music on the piano at a concert.
Sarah lived within the Camphill community of Ballytobin for many good years of welcoming and cherishing.
Patrick did the work he was called to do.
I have no doubt that he has found something up in Heaven that could do with a piece of twine to fasten it in a bit better.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

To his children I’m sorry for your loss, please remember that your daddy is an angel looking after you now. Sorry that I couldn’t attend the service but I watched it online and it was a lovely service.

Gladys and family my heartfelt sympathy to you all on the death of Patrick. I will treasure the memories I have of him. He was so full of enthusiasm for everything he undertook. I loved reading his Nore Vision articles. May he rest in peace.
We are very saddened by Patrick’s passing. He brought boundless optimism, awesome energy and an unparalleled ability to inspire others to every thing he did.

His core belief that the disabled are capable of and entitled to live full lives was central to his work on all of the wonderful projects he drove forward. In this he will continue to be a role model for all who live with, work with or support and regulate the services provided for the disabled.

Our thoughts are with Gladys and his family. at this sad time.

We are ever so grateful for the time Diarmaid spent in Ballytobin, as a day student in the distant past. His experience there has benefitted him enormously.
