Pakie you were a great equestrian man you had the finest Connemara 'Charlie' and we were all envious of you. No money could buy him off you and you graced many a hunt in West Clare. But what many won't know other than the younger participants of the hunts is that you always looked out for the ones that ended up on the ground. You would dismount and assist us get back on and would wait to ensure we all got over the fences and ditches along the hunt. Your encouraging words helped many of us hang on over the bigger jumps and your kindness will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace.

My heartfelt condolences to the Browne family on the death of Pakie. He was a great neighbour to have growing up. A very patient and kind man who'd always produce a Tiffin bar when we'd call to the door and would saddle up his cob Charlie whenever we'd ask. May he rest in peace. ❤️

Saddened today to hear of Pakie's passing.The last of a family who were steeped in kindness and goodwill to others.Have great memories as a child of visiting with my late mam the Browne household in bygone times.There are surely great chats in Heaven tonight and GAA matters very much top of the agenda.While i was never privileged to see Pakie's skills on the football fields with Cooraclare GAA club i have heard and listened to othes tell many great stories of his career.A quite and unassuming man and a great Gael you will be missed by many.Deepest Sympathy to your family and relatives.May Your Kind and Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
