Dear Mary and family, I was saddened to hear today that Patsy had passed away two weeks ago. My sincere condolences to you and all the family. He was a true gentleman and I will always cherish the memories we all had together. They were always filled with so much laughter. May Patsy Rest in Peace.

So sad to hear Patsy has left us, sincere condolences to Mary and all the family and to Joe and all in Barna. I still remember the stories and poems Patsy taught us as small children in Newtown and the fun we had, he certainly enriched our childhood. May he rest in peace.

I have fond memories in Bawnbrack, especially Christmas Eve when Patsy would stuff us with sweets and cans of 7 up as we watched Santa leave the North Pole. It wouldn’t be the O’Rahilly house without the blazing fire in the sitting room. A great tradition which I’ll never forget. RIP
