Darling Lily, we never met but your kindness when I found you on a family search was like Gold to me. The fact you knew & loved my father Patrick John Mitchell, your uncle, with your mother his baptismal sponsor was wonderful news to find. Rest in peace with the Angels. It was an honour to know you. We kept in touch back then and would meet up. Gone from Tuam many years but i always remenber her saying to me.. you need a Merc Helen. I never got one but always thought of her when i would see one. Lovely lady now reunited with her beloved husband. RIP Lily.

Mattie and Lily were delighted to return to retirement in Ireland. Unfortunately Mattie's health failed.
