It was a massive shock when I heard that Ranier had passed away, he was an extremely talented musician with a bright future and even brighter personality. It reminded me of a quote from the artist banksy “they say you die twice, once when you stop breathing and a second a bit later on when someone says your name for the last time”. Ranier may not be with us anymore but we can continue to remember him fondly and say his name for decades to come. Rest easy Ranier.

Although I’ve only met you a few times, you left such a lasting impression on me. I only wish I could have gotten to know you better ❤️

Roberto, you probably won’t remember me, but you took great care of my mother on one of her final nights with us. You told us about Ranier that night, about his music, about your hopes for his future - you spoke about him with such love.

I didn’t know Ranier very well, maybe only spoken to him a few times but anytime I did, I had a very lovely conversation with him. I wish I got to know him better.

I never met Patrick, however you can tell a persons character by the company he keeps, If his family and friends are a reflection of this young man. I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Ranier. I had the privilege of teaching him in Junior Infants & watching him grow throughout his years in CBS. I had the profound pleasure of knowing Ranier from being in a band with him in 2022. I was always amazed by the seemingly endless talents he had. He was bright, talented and incredibly passionate about all things music. What shone most about him, however, was who he was as a person. He truly lit up any room he was in, and he was completely loved by everyone who got the chance to occupy the space with him.
