My condolences to all Fr Liam's relations on his death. He was my neighbour growing up in James St and it was always a pleasure to meet him. May he rest in peace.

My mother Patricia, auntie Teresa and uncle Liam were the youngest of the Martin children.
They often told us children stories of the wee folk and fairies that lived in the ‘Black Hills’ just outside Kiltimagh

We were all so grateful to be part of the beautiful service to celebrate our Dearest Uncle Liam today. Thank you to everyone at Kimmage manor and to family friends for all of your kindness today and over the years.

Liam and I were in school and in the Spiritan novitiate together. He was a great confrère. Even when the rest of us were feeling down and out, he had that rare gift of the light touch to brighten the otherwise dull day! May God rest him.
