It's a long time since I was in the parish folk group in Kilcoole which was under Dick's leadership. But I remember as if it were only yesterday, his gentle, good humoured and skilled leadership enhanced by Phil's presence and her organisation. Those were the days!

Memories of a lovely friend and neighbour.
We met Dick about four weeks ago and it was such a pleasure to reconnect. As we are attending a funeral in Scotland we cannot be there this week to meet his lovely family again.
