To Mary, Maura, David, Danny & Rebecca, my sincere sympathies on the sad passing of Rich.

I had the honour of working under Rich's FGS finance group as the site accountant in Limerick. All the tributes paid to Rich are so true, he was kind, thoughtful, funny, a mentor, a leader and above all adored his family.

He made accountancy fun and that is some achievement! I enjoyed conversations with Rich and learned so much from him.

With so many wonderful memories of Rich, maybe these few words are appropriate:-

"Your life was one of kindly deeds, a helping hand for others needs, sincere and true in heart and mind, beautiful memories left behind"

Rest easy Rich RIP!

My sincerest condolences to the Foskin family on Richard's passing.

From 2002 through 2018, I had the privilege of working with Richard and am grateful for all that I learned from him. We experienced lows and many highs together. During a long period we had our daily phone conversation in the morning in our cars while driving to the office, Richard always had a certain perspective on how to address issues and how to read the financial side of it. His perspective was often sharp and to the point. I am grateful to him for that because it contributed to who I am today. I have many good memories of Richard, he was always willing to listen, to give advice and to help when I didn't know how to tackle something.

Another important aspect I learned from Richard was the value of family life. He always spoke lovingly about his wife Mary and also often about Danny his son when he had been up to something again.

I will always carry the thought of Richard with me.
— Rene Richters (Flex - The Netherlands fom 2002 through 2018)

My Friend Richard Was Buried Today

My friend Richard was buried today. The earth closed over him, but the echoes of his laughter, the warmth of his kindness, and the wisdom of his words remain. It's strange to think of a world without him in, without his steady presence, his humor, his unwavering loyalty. Richard was the kind of friend you don't find often in life. He had a way of making people feel seen, understood. He listened more than he spoke, but when he did speak, his words mattered. He could turn a rough day around with a simple joke or a knowing glance. He was the person who showed up whether for a celebration or a crisis, he was there. I remember the little things most. The way he sipped his coca cola slowly, as if savoring each moment. The way he always had a book to discuss, ready to recommend something he thought you'd love. The way he could make even the dullest afternoon feel like an adventure.

Today, as we said goodbye, I thought about all the stories he left behind. The people he touched. The lives he changed just by being in them. Loss is heavy, but so is love, and Richard left a lot of love in this world.

My friend Richard was buried today. But he is not gone. Not really. He lives in our memories, in the stories we tell, in the lessons he taught us. And as long as we carry those with us, a part of him stays with us too.

Rest easy, my friend
