We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to Richie's wife Josette as well as his children Michelle, Richard, Geraldine and Pat. We also remember his brother Michael, sister Catherine, grandchildren Alice, Jane and Tom, his in-laws, nephews, nieces and many friends on their immeasurable loss. As a new GAA season commences it is only correct that we remember the immense contribution Richie made to the Rower-Inistioge GAA Club and his beloved Kilkenny stretching over the decades. What he didn't know about the sport of hurling wasn't worth knowing. He will be sorely missed as a familiar and friendly face among all those with even a passing interest in Gaelic games. Suffice to say he has left an amazing legacy behind, one which will surely stand the test of time. May he now rest in peace and may his family and friends forever treasure the trove of memories he undoubtedly left behind. Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann.
