I have such great memories of Uncle Ronnie, most of them from our weekly adventures to Rathdowney on a Saturday as children. He was the kindest and most genuine person in the room, always with a camera around his neck and a smile on his face at family gatherings.

He was a true friend to dad and he will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to Sara and Amber in particular at this really difficult time. My thoughts are with you both.

I hope your dad is now dancing among the stars with those gone before him.

So sorry to hear of the death of Ron.
I remember Ron as a little girl in Rossmore Grogan growing up. Ron and his brother Brian were 2 lovely young men and I will remember them with fondness.
We often got lifts in their cars from and to Rathdowney and they were always gentlemen. I am a Williams of Rossmore and my Mam was a cleary.
May Ron now Rest in Peace with all the Angels.

We were so sad to hear of Uncle Ron’s passing. Ron was such an amazing man, so thoughtful, so generous and so encouraging. I loved spending time with Ron, Dad and Andrew in Rathdowney and listening to the chats that were generally about the news, cars or rugby.

Ron had such a kind heart and he will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to Amber and Sara, to his grandchildren and to my own Dad, his brother George, Harry and Charlie.
