Sincere sympathy to the Keenan & Dennehy families on the sad passing of Rose. I have great memories of visiting the Skellig Rock in the morning for coffee in the early seventies as our office was across the road in Kitty O, Sullivan`s where Rose and Tadgh were very pleasant hosts.

To Mary,Dan, Tim,Martin,Noreen,Alice and Ann and all the Dennehy family, we extend our sympathies on Rose’s passing. Treasured memories in New Street of a great lady a very much encouraging and supporting presence in our young lives on the street. Rose and indeed the other mothers on the street many who have recently passed have left a rich legacy of the true nature of what family means. It is a sad time for you all but some little comfort in that she is now at peace. As the poet says of his mother “O she is rich if she receives the barest shred of what she gave”, and she gave much. RIP Rose. Sorry couldn’t meet with ye all at this time.
