Deepest Condolences to Pauline, Pat, Paul, and Harry - and all close friends. Rose was a wonderful sociable woman, and this was demonstrated very clearly at her well-attended funeral. She was very proud of the Meehan family's Leitrim beginnings, and was a great source of information and cheerful story-telling on that subject. Rose had a great life, and will be sorely missed.

Harry, Pauline and all the Keane family – we would like to offer our heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your Mum Rose. We have such fond memories of the ‘Rose and Carmel’ group or better known and christened by Dad as the ‘golden girls duo’– singing on many a Sunday night in our pub - Doherty’s Mountain Tavern. Always the true professional, Rose never arrived without being impeccably dressed and looking glamorous and always with a smile on her face. We recall some of their favourite song repertoire including ‘you are my sunshine’ . However, one of her other favourites ‘wish me luck as you wave me goodbye’ rings so poignant today. Farewell Rose and thank you for the music and kindness you showed over years to Mum, Dad and ourselves.
