We spent many enjoyable days hunting with the United Hunt. I believe I was with her on her final day hunting when she took a heavy fall. She enjoyed her hunting and was joined by Bob when he was available. We also enjoyed her hospitality in her lovely home.

Fred and Sheila send sincere sympathy on the death of your mum Ruth ,we have happy memories our times with them on many occasions over the years .

We recall wonderful evenings spent in the company of Bob and Ruth in their beloved Marysborough as wine and conversation flowed freely. Their hospitality was matched by a personal grace and style and by their intellectual and artistic interests. Their love for each other was clear for all to see and Bob was justifiably proud when when one of Ruth's paintings was recognised by the Royal Academy of Arts, leading to a public exhibition of her work. The passing of their old-world charm leaves a void in our lives.

We were sorry to hear this sad news and our thoughts are with you all.
Ruth and Bob were such engaging company and it was always a privilege to meet them and indeed to be taught by Bob!
We can imagine how sad it must feel at present but we must comment on the love and affection witnessed from Rachel and family over the last few years while Ruth sadly deteriorated in health.
How lucky she must have felt to be around Rachel in particular and her family in Goldhanger as she was cared for and painted to her hearts content.
Hold onto those memories - you were an example to us all.
