Our deepest sympathy to all of Ruth's family. I met Ruth many years ago when she and Gordon were involved with the Scripture Union Kinsale camps. What a great and faithful couple Ruth and Gordon were. Ruth's race was run and her new home in heaven prepared and waiting for her. You will miss her presence greatly. Sincerely and with prayer.

I am sad for the family, as Ruth will be so very much missed, but so glad for her as she enjoys the presence of her Saviour! My sincerest condolences to her children and their families.

When I told my son of Ruth’s passing he closed his eyes and did a perfect impression of her saying “Now Stephen did you get enough to eat.” Then he smiled and said “What a lovely lady.” I’m sure there are hundreds more of his generation from MCC camps back in the 90s who are thinking the same thing today. Olwyn, Carolyn and Arnold may you find comfort these sad days in knowing that for her the living is only beginning.

Ruth was a special lady. She prayed for me (Trish) long I knew her. We are forever grateful for her love and shining example of the Christian life. We're praying for all the family today.
