Many years ago , i shared with Sean a overseas Trip to Italy to see the Harry Factory, As everyone who knew Sean , Sean was a "Meat Spuds and 3 veg" man 7 days a week , The Italian owners of the factory Proudly brough us to their Favorite village Restaurant , After 15 mins pursuing the Menu , sean went outside with an empty plate , he was horrified,, Salami , Goats cheeze and Anti-pasta was not "Food" [ also !! Some genius informed Sean that all meat in Italy was Horse Meat) . Sean proceeded to live off Bread rolls for 3 days .Poor Sean was starving ,Till , we rocked into Florence, there in the distance was the ""3Arch's" . Out we got to track down MacD's . When we found it he refused to do the ordering , i was dispatched to buy 3 big mac's and chips ,, all for Sean ,,Sean revelled in his meal as he wolfed it down, disaster was averted. Sean Furey was always great fun to be around , and never failed to tell me how much his Donegal Family were his Rock . Good- by friend you will be missed

They'd meet up for the chat in the Newbury Hotel .I never meet Sean but spoke to him on the phone when my dad died. He was a lovely man to talk to and could tell me a few things i didn't know about my dad.Hopefully the two of them can catch up now on all the going ons.

Letterkenny has lost an inoffensive gentleman and noteworthy stand-up if unpaid comedian, the days of which are all but gone.
