The Mc Carthy family of John Street Cashel were genuinely so sad to hear of Seán s passing only today and particularly saddened that we were not there to sympathise with you all at that time .
He was such an accomplished,intelligent,gentleman .As a first cousin of our late father Dr Seán Cashel it was so obvious they shared a wonderful friendship and sense of family together.I was often very fortunate to chat with Seán during their regular Sunday phone calls .
