My heart is broken for Mick Sonya Laura Adam and all her brother sisters and extended family.

Sinead is my aunt and she really was so kind to us as was MIck, thier home was always cosy and welcoming. She opened up the world to myself and my brother liam on our summer holidays with our lovley cousins. She was unbelievably kind and had a heart of gold.

When my first baby was born she gave me a few bob to get a tree , and that cherry blossom is blooming right now in her memory evermore. That baby(Lola) is three now and she said before she went to sleep tonight "god bless Sinead in heaven mammy"

Her book about eileen really is a wonderful gift to the future, it is a credit to her and will be cherished.

Go raibh maith agat as an saol a chaith tú linn, sinéad.
(Thank you for the life you shared with us sinéad)

I was one of Sinéad’s Maths students in Dunlavin and I was probably one of the worst. Having previously been made feel like an absolute idiot by other teachers - Ms Cullen rose to the challenge and managed to get me to pass my exams through pure dedication, kindness and patience. What a beautiful kind woman- she gave her absolute best. My sincere condolences to all of Sinéad’s family on this sad occasion . If I am sad after almost 50 years- I can only imagine what her beloved and cherished family and friends are all feeling- she will be badly missed. May she rest in peace.
— Student from class of 77
